The only thing better than a cozy seat by the fire is a frozen s’more in hand! Here’s how we made this camp-friendly treat:
INGREDIENTS:
- 16 whole graham crackers
- 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
- 7 oz marshmallow creme
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2.5 cups milk
RECIPE:
- Line a 9×13″ pan with aluminum foil, allowing foil to fold over the edges of the pan.
- Beat chocolate pudding mix and milk together until completely combined.
- Pour pudding into pan and spread in a smooth layer.
- Beat cream cheese and marshmallow creme together until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip.
- Spread this mixture on top of the pudding and smooth the top.
- Cover with foil or plastic wrap and freeze for 4 hours or until firm.
- Using foil, remove the frozen mix from the pan and use a long knife to cut into sections the same size as graham cracker halves. Sandwich each piece between two graham cracker halves.
- Enjoy!
We hope this recipe inspires many fond camping memories for kids of all ages…no campfire required!
