When we set out to create fun and stylish projects to complement our teepee, tents, and tunnels, we always consider how it can be used for other purposes. Today we are sharing a DIY wooden bead and yarn tassel garland tutorial that not only functions as Classic Linen Teepee decor but can also be wrapped around a Christmas tree or strung along the walls of a play room. The neutral color palette and natural materials make it ideal for every season!

Featuring a neutral color palette and high-quality cotton canvas, our Classic Linen Teepee pairs perfectly with with every space.

It’s constructed of four wooden poles and is floor-less, making it easy to incorporate small furniture into play time while ensuring that clean up is a breeze.

The roll-up window is perfect for sneaking a peek at the activity both inside and outside while the two pockets on either side of the teepee can hold all kinds of treasures!

The Classic Linen Teepee is a must-have for every modern kid, especially when it’s decorated with a beautiful wooden bead and yarn tassel garland!

SUPPLIES:

  • Yarn
  • Wooden Beads
  • Scissors
  • Large glass or jar

Wrap the yarn around a glass or jar several times until you have a thick grouping of yarn.

Carefully pull the yarn off of the cup.

Wrap another strand of yarn around the top of the tassel gathering and tightly double knot it. Then trim off the bottom of the tassel to remove the loops and straighten the edges.

Once the tassels are made, cut a long strand of yarn (at least three feet) and start threading wooden beads while adding in tassels every so often. This will create the perfect garland to hang around your teepee!

We couldn’t be possibly be more excited about the holidays if we tried! How about you?
