The floral crown trend has been around for awhile and lucky for us, it’s not going away anytime soon! We are always looking for inspiration within our own product line, so when we thought about our whimsical Wildflowers Cotton Canvas Teepee, we knew that a DIY wildflower-inspired floral crown would be a must-have accessory!

Our Wildflowers Cotton Canvas Teepee was designed to be feminine and modern. It was no small feat but we believe that the end result is a classic piece that will grow with a child as they move from toddlerhood through adolescence.

One of the best features about this teepee is how luxe it looks and feels. The exterior is made of cotton canvas while the inside is constructed of a second separate layer of cotton with it’s own hand drawn pattern, ensuring that the prints on both sides do not bleed. We wanted to ensure this statement piece to look great in any space you choose to have it in.

Featuring a roll-up window and doors that can be tied back, this product encourages play both inside and outside of the teepee.

The flags that adorn the top of the teepee add a fanciful touch and the colorful, hand-drawn patterns are sure to inspire hours of imaginative play.

The only thing missing while playing in the Wildflowers Teepee? A wildflowers crown, of course! Here’s what you’ll need to make one:

SUPPLIES:

  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Faux flowers (found at any craft store)
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors

Begin by taking 1-2 pipe cleaners (depending on the size of your child’s head) and mold it into a circle. If you are using more than one pipe cleaner, connect them together by wrapping the ends around each other until they are completely wound.

Using a variety of faux flowers, adhere small sections around pipe cleaner circle until you are happy with the size and fullness.

We used a mix of florals that can be worn in any season and any teepee!

Once the crowns are complete, pass them out and watch your “flower child” blossom!
