Letter Twister

Just like regular Twister, lay out the alphabet board and call out a letter for the children to put a body part on! Whoever stays up the longest without falling is the winner. Letter Scavenger Hunt

Write some letters on the chalkboard and have the children find items around the classroom that correspond to a certain letter, and switch it up everyday. For a longer activity, have them work the entire board. Whoever gets the most letters covered within a particular time frame wins!

Action!

Lay out the mat and have the children take turns rolling a block or ball onto the mat. Whatever letter the ball or block lands on, the child has to act out an action that begins with that letter. These can be such things as: clapping for the letter C, monkey noises for the letter M, or humming for the letter H! It’s a fun, creative, engaging activity that will make everyone laugh. Make it even more challenging by adding a time frame to it, such as 5 seconds, so they have to think fast!
