As the parent of two little ones (ages 2.5 years and 7 months respectively), I’m forever learning and relearning how to juggle both of their needs. The first time I took them out in public by myself felt like a major life accomplishment. Then when I figured out how to interact with the toddler at her gym class while simultaneously wearing the baby in a carrier on my chest, I thought I was Super Mom. Now that summer is fast approaching and BBQs and birthday parties are taking over our social calendar, I’m learning how to navigate this new territory with two kiddos.
Luckily, I’ve found a way to keep my little guy safe from bigger kids while still letting him be a part of the action: the Lil’ Nursery Dome Tents! These see-through tents are my go-to accessories at any fun yet potentially dangerous occasion because it can easily corral my infant (and a few of his friends!) in a snap.
We recently enjoyed a birthday celebration and I felt relaxed knowing that both of my kids were happy and out of harm’s way. These Lil Nursery’s are great because these tents are half solid material and half mesh, which not only makes for great breathability for our babies but it also allows me to keep an eagle eye on them from across the backyard. I also love that the door opens and closes easily for when I need to step away for a short moment. I know the little ones will be safe while I am distracted. We had a couple of spills on the waterproof floor but it was so easy to clean right up!
It’s hard to tell whom had more fun: the big kids with the cupcakes or the babies with their tent!
