Busy moms and dads, take note! You are definitely not alone if you feel like your life is moving at a breakneck pace and you can’t quite keep up. We all feel that way from time to time but luckily, we always have our eyes peeled for fast and fun ways to stay one step ahead. Today we are sharing one of our favorite recipes for good times on the go!

Not only are granola bars chock-full of healthy ingredients but they’re super easy to bake ahead of time as well as freeze for future use! Here’s how to make our tried-and-true granola bars that are sure to please the whole family:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cups rolled oats
  • 3/4 cups mixed seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Blend 3/4 cups of oats until fine, then place in a large bowl.
  2. Add 1 cup of dates and 1 cup of water and blend.
  3. Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
  4. Add the liquid to the oats, followed by the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Mix well with a wooden spoon.
  6. Smooth out on a baking sheet and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Slice into individual serving sizes and wrap with parchment paper and baker’s twine.

Don’t those granola bars look delightful? The only thing we love more than healthy snacks is our One Touch Beach Tent! Using our trademarked one-touch technology, busy parents can assemble an entire tent with one hand in three easy steps:

  1. Remove the One-Touch Beach Tent from it’s carrying case and unleash the velcro strap. Once that’s loosened, the arms of the tent will begin to spread out.

2. Pull on each of the lightweight arms of the tent until they are fully extended.

3. Push the center mechanism down until it audibly snaps into place, signaling that the One-Touch Beach Tent is secure and ready to be enjoyed in both indoor and outdoor settings. (Bonus: pair it with a tatami mat for extra style and comfort!)

Chalk one up for another parent victory!
