Why have one theme when you can have two themes in one tent? With our 2-in-1 Lil’ Grocery Store and Puppet Theatre House Tent, your child’s imagination is sure to be stretched in new ways as they can use it for both a grocery store AND a puppet theater by just moving from one side of the tent to the other! Today we are taking inspiration from the theater side of the tent and creating easy-to-make paper bag puppets that only require a few household items and a little bit of creativity.
At 50 x 40 x 50,” there’s plenty of room for the 2-in-1 Lil’ Grocery Store and Puppet Theatre House Tent to be a powerhouse of dual entertainment!
The roll-up windows not only allow for fresh air to flow freely but they also create a bit of suspense for the audience as they await the puppet performance.
Here’s what you will need to create your own paper bag puppet troupe:
- Construction Paper
- Paper Bags
- Glue Stick
- Black Marker
Cut out various facial features: hair, eyes, eyebrows, lips, beards, cheeks, clothes.
Mix and match each of the facial features and accessories to create various characters for the puppet show. Add in additional details such as noses and eyelashes with a black pen.
Once you are happy with the arrangement, glue each of the pieces in place and let the magic begin!
Break a leg, puppeteers!
Even though the puppet show may come to an end, the fun has just begun! Simply hop over the opposite side the tent and enjoy a grocery run!
The colorful graphics and roll-up windows are sure to be a hit with children of all ages.
Watch out for friendly food fights! You never know what will happen when you step inside our 2-in-1 Lil’ Grocery Store and Puppet Theatre House Tent!
