Calling all Mini Picassos! This Sunday (June 18th) is Father’s Day and we have the perfect project for little ones to put their creativity to good use!

If you have paint and you have butcher paper, you have all that you need to create beautiful, handmade gift wrap for all the special fathers in your family’s life. To create our own wrapping paper, we laid out a long sheet of white butcher paper and set the toddler up with basic watercolors and a few prompts (“Paint a picture of Daddy! Paint with your favorite color!”) and let her work her magic.

To ensure that her clothing didn’t get covered in paint during our mini crafternoon, we had her slip on a black and white striped Activity Vest. Made from durable polyester, the Activity Vest can protect against everything from pens and paint to glitter and glue. Plus, the 24″ length and 13.5″ width ensures that artists as young as toddlers or as old as tweens can wear the vest in style. Now crafting no longer has to come at the cost of clothing!

Once her masterpiece was finished, we laid it out in the sun for a short time to fully dry.

Once the paper was dry, we wrapped gifts using the paper and embellished the present with our free Father’s Day tags and a long strand of leather cording. Super simple yet so meaningful!

Happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful dads out there! We are so grateful for you.
